The Loneliness of a Short-order cook/Samotność kucharza szybkich zamówień
A young Japenese man works as a cook at a Japanese jazz club in Los Angeles. It is a temporary work for him as he waits for his visa to be issued. He falls in love with a Mexican girl who does not speak English. He discovers an unusual atmosphere of the city: no beaches, palm trees nor expensive cars on Beverly Hills boulevards.

Marcel Sawicki - Born in Ostrzeszów, Poland and raised in California. Sawicki graduated from the film directing program at CalArts.  His first short film, "Holiday", earned him the attention of the international film community and garnered various prizes and special mentions at major festivals, incl Rome International Film Festival.  He lives and works in Los Angeles and Poland. “Loneliness of the short orders chef” won awards in Santiago de Chile IFF and Polish Film Festival in Gdynia
