”30 Minutes”, a program coordinated by Studio Munka, is a joint initiative of the Polish Filmmakers Association, the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing, the TVP Kultura Channel and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and Polish Film Institute.
The purposes of the program:
The basic purpose of the Program is to enable young filmmakers to make 30-minute feature film debuts in a professional production environment. Participants of the program are young directors before their first feature film. The films must focus on contemporary topics and realities. Each young director is provided with artistic and production supervision. Ten 30-minute films are made each year. The crew of each film must include at least two other first-time filmmakers who make a professional debut in their respective fields.
Participants must be:
- graduates of film schools,
- film directing students,
- persons without film education, but with some artistic experience (amateur films, TV reportages)
- polish speaking
All projects are provided with artistic supervision.
